- We met online. I used to hate admitting that, but since it has been 8 years, I guess it's ok. I was living in Michigan and he was here in Utah. I was homesick and went into a Utah chatroom and there he was. His screen name was "Personal Jesus" (it's the name of a Depeche Mode song). I asked if he was a DM fan, or if he was just cocky and sacreligious. He was SO excited that I knew it was DM that we talked all the time. I moved home shortly after. We started dating the week I got home. A month later, we were engaged, 3 months after that, we were married! We already had Madison from John's first marriage, and we had Annie just over a year after we were married. That's us in a nutshell!
